2025 Adjudicator – Mario Marino

Mario Marino was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, and has worked in the music industry for over 35 years. A rare blend of technical skill and musicality, he is one of Australia’s most versatile drummers, touring nationally and internationally with award-winning bands. Mario was part of the online sensation The Hindley Street Country Band and currently performs with the YouTube band SingltLive. He has represented the Adelaide Roots & Blues Association (ARBA) at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis twice and holds a degree from the Adelaide Elder Conservatorium of Music. Mario also lectures at TAFE SA’s Adelaide College of the Arts, bringing deep expertise in contemporary drumming.
